DTOUR: Digital training for better tourism SME management.

"dTour aim to train and certify people who work in the Tourism & Hospitality sector with innovative digital skills in order to provide high-quality digitalised services to small and medium-sized businesses with focus on hotels and accommodation.
European tourism SMEs appear to lack the ability to use new technologies as they are trapped in a ‘traditional’ way of delivering services. Inspired by these needs and opportunities these dTour advisers will help SMEs exploit the new digital trends and technologies in the sector, in order to be used for operations management and enhanced guest experience. dTour advisers may be owners and managers, business and social media consultants or graduates.

There are many digital tools associated with the project:
• The dTour Navigation Guide allows the user to choose the characteristics of their hospitality facility and select the category of digital tools relevant to them. Some of the headings include location, price range and number of rooms
• The e-platform is a repository of the courses on offer in different languages. The user must login to access the courses
• The e-library is a digital library comprised of digital collections, services and infrastructure to support learning, research and recorded knowledge and can disseminate information in digital form. It contains books, articles, videos and tools for trainers"

The COAST project’s Sustainable Resilient Coasts Toolbox includes drone-based tools for sustainable coastal tourism development.
